The hot spot is a Japanese series airing on Netflix. The story evolves around Kiyomi Endo (Mikako Ichikawa). She is a single mother, living with her daughter at the base of Mt. Fuji. She works at a local hotel and loves her job. One day while at work, she discovers a secret about one of her co-workers, Kosuke Takahashi (Akihiro Kakuta).
Takahashi reveals his secret to Kiyomi, making her promise not to tell anyone. Well, you can guess what happens next…she tells her closest friends. They all want to meet Takahashi and learn his secrets. Takahasi has spent most of his life living as a loner, afraid of others finding out his secret. Kiyomi’s friends accepts him into their group and don’t treat him as an outsider.
Funny hijinx ensure when unexpected situations start arise. A reporter starts to get on the trail of Takahashi’s secrets and his newfound friends do everything they can to protect him and his secret.
